Daan Ghati Mandir

Daan Ghati Mandir is reckoned to be one of the two major Hindu temples in Govardhan. The literal meaning of the term Daan Ghati is ‘donation valley’ , Located about 22 kilometres from Mathura, Govardhan is a key pilgrimage centre, comprising of many temples in the town. It is mainly famous for its 21 kilometres long Parikrama (going around the path) of the Govardhan hill.

Kusum Sarovar

One can visit Kusum Sarovar at any time of the day, but it is recommended to visit early morning or evening to make the most of your trip. On a trip to the sacred cities of Mathura and Vrindavan, you must visit Kusum sarovar to admire the Rajasthani architecture and the adoration of the divine. A trip to Mathura-Vrindavan is not complete without visiting Barsana - the birthplace of Goddess Radha, Nandgaon - the home of Lord Krishna, where he lived for almost 10 years and Gokul - the town where Lord Krishna was brought up by his foster parents, Nand baba and Yashoda.

Govardana Parikrama

Govardana Parikrama (going 21 kilometres around the path) is a sacred ritual performed by many believers as spiritual purification. This ritual of Parikrama is considered to be even better if it’s done with milk. A clay pot filled with milk, with a hole at the bottom, is carried by the devotees in one hand and a pot filled with dhoop (incense smoke) in another. An escort continuously fills up the pot with milk till the parikrama is completed. There are three kinds of Parikramas: 5 Kosh(1 kosh=3 KM), 7 Kosh, 9 Kosh.

Mukharvind

The first place you need to visit before starting Govardhan parikrama is called Mukharvind where we take the permission of Shri Girirajji for the Parikrama and offer him milk that’s called Giriraj Puja. This place is introduced by Jagadguru Shri Vallabhacharya Ji who is the founder of Pushtimarg.

Radha Rani Temple

The Radha Rani Temple of Barsana is situated on the top of brahma giri hill which is height approx 200 - 250 mtr. Radha Rani Temple of Barsana holds a unique position in the map of Barsana. Apart from its religious and historical eminence, this Temple is a work of brilliant architecture, and the scenic beauty cannot be explained in words.

Rangeeli Mahal

Rangeeli Mahal is one of the most beautiful constructs of Barsana which is especially known for its large courtyard and garden and the fabulous fountains and water shows in the garden.
